Mission proposée
For our HQs in Luxembourg we are currently looking for a motivated and talented candidate to support our Group Derivatives team. In this six-month experience you will be actively involved in the interaction with the financial planning and capital markets teams as well as with several investment banks and functions like raw material procurement, accounting, internal audit, treasury, legal, IT, external financial or consulting firms.
Main Tasks
• Direct assistance and cooperation with the capital markets team with regards to hedging strategies;
• Analyze the hedging contracts concerning both currencies and commodities;
• Manage the reporting files aimed to underline the everyday activity performance;
• Interact with the group treasury team with regards to transactions' settlements;
• Contribute in creating a connection between hedged flows and hedging strategies in order to analyze possible discrepancies;
• Support in the analysis of the hedging strategies impact on balance sheet and income statements.
Profil recherché et exigences du poste
• Student or Graduate (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration, Finance, Management or other related fields;
• Proactive and autonomous approach;
• Analytical skills and attention to details;
• Interpersonal skills;
• Proactive especially towards the most challenging situations;
• Familiarity with accounting principles (IAS/IFRS) and Financial Markets are an asset.
Languages
• Proficiency in English;
• Any other language skills are a plus.
